CHEFS COMPETE TO REPRESENT 
SKUNA BAY SALMON® AT
TASTE OF DERBY™, A K
ENTUCKY DERBY®
CULINARY EXPERIENCE.

HOW DOES IT WORK: Chefs enter their most amazing Skuna Bay Salmon recipe here  on the entry page along with a photo - between January 20, 2014 and March 2, 2014. 28 chefs will be selected by a panel of judges to compete in the quarterfinal cooking competitions. On March 4th these chefs will be announced.

THEN: At the end of March, 8 competitions will be held across America with 3 or 4 chefs at each competition cooking their Skuna Bay dish against each other in front of a judging panel. 1 chef at each event will emerge (2 in the Southwest quarterfinal) and head to one of 2 National Semi-Finals.


AT THE SEMI-FINALS: In early April, the winning chefs from the first round events will again compete head to head (to head) in front of a judging panel at one of each Semi-Final event. Contestants' travel expenses (see rules and regs) will be provided. One chef at each Semi-Final will win - and travel to Louisville, KY for the Finals.

THE KENTUCKY DERBY®:
Both Chefs will be the guests of Skuna Bay Salmon at the 140th Kentucky Derby® enjoying VIP seating.

LOUISVILLE, KY: Will be fun. The two finalist chefs will compete on April 30, 2014 in Louisville, KY in front of their peers, judges and culinary afficionados. These two finalist chefs will go head to head in the kitchen for the win  - and recognition in a national ad in Saveur Magazine.

TASTE OF DERBY™:
A Kentucky Derby® Culinary Experience is a chance to help the Judges cook for over 1,000 guests at the Skuna Bay station.
